Creating vectors

japuentem
Hi

I have a main Vector and i'm adding another vectors inside the main, the question is ¿how to get each value of the secondary vectors?.

I hope you understand the question.

When you get an item from a Vector (in earlier versions of Java at least), you have to cast that object into it's type, before you can use it. Since we know (in this case) that they are vectors, you can try something like

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. objectInsideInsideVector = ((Vector)vector1.get(i)).get(j);
  2.

If I had a choice though, I'd use ArrayList instead. Vector is old stuff.
