How to find the physical drive size in java, what is the method used to find it??

Hi shahas,

Welcome to thescripts. I'm sure you will find a llot of useful information available fromt eh experts in the various forums (accessibly from the tags on the blue bar at the top of your screen).

How to find the physical drive size in java, what is the method used to find it??
You can find that information through the java.io.File class (specifically look at the getFreeSpace() method):
http://java.sun.com/javase/6/docs/api/java/io/File.html

Note that you need the latest version (1.6) of the JDK for this!
