Attaching XML File to XQuery using Saxon

Hi,

I'm using Saxon v8.9 for XQuery execution. I'm using following code:

XQDataSource ds = new SaxonXQDataSource();
XQConnection conn = ds.getConnection();
XQExpression exp = conn.createExpression();
XQResultSequence seq = exp.executeQuery(queryExpression);

But, I can't attach XML Document to it. I want to know whether an XML Document on which XQuery is to be run can be attached to it using Java or not? I don't want to use like that:

String query = "let $bodySect := doc('F://CDA//CDA.xml')/ClinicalDocument/ "

Plz. tell me any way other than using doc() if exists.

Thanks,
Ismail

Hi Ismail,

Since the solution requires specific Java knowledge, I will move the thread to the Java forum where you can get an answer faster than here.

God bless you,
Dorin.
