i did set that path at textbox "Initial folder" leaving "parameter" textbox empty.but still i am getting same error. also i have checked checkbox "capture output" and allowed "alert sound when done..." and all other checkboxes unchecked.

do i need to mention anything at "regular expression to match output" area????

thanks in advance

Maybe you should just uninstall and reinstall your textpad. Normally it should add the commands automatically when you go to Configure-preferences and tools there should be an add jdk commands somewhere.
