memory required to install jdk 1.6

can someone help i want to download jdk1.6 to my portable storage disk but is telling me i have no enough storage space . my storage have 2gb

2gig is more than enough for jdk 1.6 Like Ganon said your capacity might be 2gig but the free space could be much less.
