How to store a doc file into database and retrieved it again from it using jsp

1
Hi Friends,

Am working on a project which is to store the details of an applicant and upload the doc file of that applicant into the database using the browse button.
Here while entering each applicants details an ID should be generated automatically by which the doc file is to be saved in the database with that ID.

or

any other process to store applicants details and doc file simultaneously into the database and retrieve them efficiently.

Am very much confused in developing this code..

Thank You....

Find a free package for reading the .doc file e.g poi. Once you are able to read your .doc files you can then store them in the database using jdbc.
