I am inputting a line of numbers from another file, I am sending the first line of numbers(four lines to compute) into this method to break it up and first need to convert it so I can then do a parse.int on it to make it values that I can then sort from highest to lowest, if you can help with that error, a brief overview of the program to see if you can give any other tips.

Java is case sensitive. In this case CharAt != charAt and it looks like you want to use charAt instead. I don't see how you plan on using it to achieve your requirements though.

thanks, lol that worked :) what I plan on doing is using the charAt and testing the values,
if(Num!=null)
{
int Parser
}
