recover connection if i got session id for that connection somehow?????????

I keep the connection in session..
in the mean time the session timed out or the app server got down..
is there any way to recover that connection if i got the session id for that connection somehow????????????????????
Plllllllllllllllllzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz help me out...
