Unicode & Java

hi all,
I have to work with Unicode files - need to read from them and write to as well. That part is working fine. But I need to do a lot of String ops on them too. I need to search for a certain unicode substring at the end of each string using the endsWith() method . The contains() method is working. But endsWith() isnt! How can I do it?

Post the code that is not working. Have you had a look at regular expressions?
