Is update 5.09 and 5.02 needed

P: 1
Hello everyone, this may sound stupid to some but i'm not trained in any computer tech. at all so i have to ask: I have a notebook with small hard drive and not much ram. I was going through my installed programs and noticed that I have Java 2 runtime environment, SE v1.4.2_03 (136.00MB) J2SE Runtime Environment, 5.0 update 2 (143.00MB) and J2SE Runtime Environment, 5.0 Update 9 (145.00MB). All together thats 400.00 MB--way to much resources--if I don't need to have them. Can someone help me and tell me if I can delet one or more of the updates to make some more room on my computer. Thanks for your help. ForMassDiscounts@yahoo.com

when a stable update appears I download it and if my current projects work OK with it I delete previous versions (JDK 1.6.0 is my current version). Sometimes I may have two versions when I also download a beta version.
