The Garbage Collector..

Hi Everyone,

I really need to know which method is called by the garbage collector on an object when garbage collection determines that there are no more references to the object?

and does anyone happen to know which class contains the definition of this method?
I checked the JAVA API for the classes that all other classes extend implicitly, im kind of getting confused :s

That's in the System class.
