java applet fail to run

i m working on window xp service pack2
have jre1_5_0_09-windows-i586-p-s installed n msjava as well
ERRoR i get:
applet chart notinited
in Java console error says
java.lang.classNotFoundException:chart.class
pls help

i m not a programmer. I m trying to save java figure from the net.Able to view it n n saving it on my pc.But the saved net file when opens ,shows this error
"applet chart notinited"
n java console shows "java.lang.classNotFoundException:chart.class"

The "picture" you downloaded is in fact a java applet that was making use of a java class file which is needed for this applet to run. The class is called chart.class. If you were not able to get this class file then you will not be able to view the figure created by that class file.
