how to populate values based upon any unique key attribute

i have a jsp page and there are three text boxes in it.there is one drop down contaning three integer values.i want that,if i select one value from drop down the corresponding values from the database comes into the text boxes.

please help me how to write in java.

The values can only be populated using javascript which cannot connect to the db. You'd have to submit the page to make it get values from the db. However, a turn around about it is to load all the values in the db into a hidden select on the page everytime the page loads. Then you can populate the textboxes dynamically using javascript by referencing the select box(This has its disadvantages of course).
