How to read characters in an Image file

How can i read characters in an Image file through Java.......
If any body have any idear.please respond immediate.....

Suppose if there is an image with the text "Scenery"........
I just wanted to get(read) the text from that image.........

Yah!! i thought the same......

But in the web i got "aspriseOCR.jar" file.....in which it can read the contents of the image file....and printing the text on the console.......

For, further information you can get the binaries from the following site:
http://asprise.com/product/ocr/download.php?lang=java

I just wanted to know weather it can be possible thorough javax.imageio.* or java.awt.* packages.........

If you have some time plz go through the site and find it out....
