Conflicts with multiple slideshows

I am using Photoslider II on the index page but when I add more than one all sorts of problems happen. Now I suspect it is a duplicate variable problem but I don't know enough to understand what do I do to change the variables in the other two slideshows on the same page. They are all the same Photoslider II script. I am pasting the code below hoping someone can tell me how to change the conflicting variables, if that is the problem. Also is it possible to tweek the code so that if I click on a thumbnail pic in the slideshow that a separate pop up window with a larger version of same pic appears? Right now my concern is trying to make three slideshows on same page work and I have spent a week researching but no luck. People say to change the names of the variables but I don't know which ones and what do I change them to?
Thanks. Tom - ComedyFarm@yahoo.com

yes more then likely it is the variables and functions. when u make a copy change all the variable names. and you can't have 2 functions with the same name.

by the way post javascripts in the javascript part of the forum please. java is alittle different :)
