Good team-programming tools

Hello
I`m looking for some good (not neccesary advanced) team programming tool,
simplify work in 5-20 people group (something like Visual SourceSafe). It
should give some basic functions like source code synchronize, version
control and backups. We use programming platforms like: Eclipse, Visual
Studio .NET and Delphi but platform independent tool will be very good.
Maybe you have some experiences with some tools i`m talking about. Thanks
for any help and advices.

Either Subversion or CVS\CVSNT for Windows (Concurrent Versions System)
either would be good choices. Personally I like Subversion.

If you were talking about a SCM system, P4 is a good choice.
