Problem Linking JNI code on IBM AIX

1
Hi All,

I am trying to create the executable for a JNI code on the AIX 5.2(32 bit version) platform using Java 1.4.2 Jsdk. The code compiles successfully but when the gcc tries to link it an error props up saying

collect2: library libverify not found

I have already tried to locate the libverify.so in the Java Installation folder. I guess this so file is used for bound chking in case of strings to avoid stackoverflow.

One more thg tht I came across was in case of IBM AIX I was unable to find the OS specific folder in the /jre/lib folder tht is generally present with the JavaRuntime for various operating systems. On other OS jre installation this file is generally present in tht folder.

Does nyone around has any Idea of how do i proceed further to get through this problem. Thx in advance and ny help on this will be great.

Regards,
Sajal
