Hi, I am a new member here...
Maybe this is a general question but I have developed a Java web app in a Windows environment and one of the key features of this application is to create .rtf files and save them onto a file share on a Windows file server.
Due to budget constraints I am told that this application MUST be run on a server running FreeBSD.
This is fine for the most part being as the JRE and Tomcat Apache and MySQL are all running on this machine, however the problem lies with being able to access a file share on a Windows network to create an .rtf document.
I realize that standard Windows UNC file paths will not be recognized or found on this Unix system, so I was wondering if anybody had some kind of workaround I could add to my Java code that would
1) Authenticate to the Windows Domain,
2) Write to an .rtf document on the windows file share.
The following is a web based server side Java application that is used within the Intranet only.
Thanks in advance...
