Java doesn't work

Hi,

My Java doesn't work anymore. I have reinstalled it several times, but
it doesn't work. When I try to open the Java program, the window is sort
of grey, when I open programs who need Java, the screen turns black or
it crashes.

Can somebody help?

Try invoking java itself from the command line ("java") and see what
kind of error message you get.

You should also mention some specifics
re: your operating system and the version of java you're installing.
