Excellent J2SE IDE

I just saw a web-demo of a veeery cool java builder. The guy built two
complete apps (one a databse app) in like five minutes.

Seeing that your e-mail address belongs to the same domain as the vendor of
the product (ics.com), begs the question: are you this "guy" who built apps
in minutes?

And if you are trying this not-so-subtle marketing technique to promote your
own product, why don't you admit this openly?

You can extoll your "veeery cool" creation as much as you like, but it
carries "veeery" little weight, when it comes from someone with vested
interest in the product. Your claim to fame would have a lot more
credibility if it came from other people.

If anything, this shows your utter disrespect to the intelligense of readers
who might open your post. And to make the effect last, you posted it twice.
Sheesh...

Well put Alex,

Makes you wonder about the quality of product, doesn't it?

Well put Alex,

Just out of curiosity, I poked around their website. You may be right about
the product quality. I did not bother to install it, just looking at the
Users Guide made it clear that the product is not up to snuff: poorly
organized, almost no images (and those few that are found there - 11 in
total - are of crappy quality for a $1000 product), several yards of text -
all in one scrollable view. Something that a beginner programmer would put
together for a quick prototype.

If they don't understand the importance of the quality for the presentation
material, what should be expected from the product itself?

The "web-demo" is a 58 Mb file that is loaded from a slow server - did not
have patience to wait for the estimated 45 min of the downloading time.
Interestingly, they took care to tell you that the video runs for 8 min, but
did not admit that it will take at least 6 times that to download it,
although they should be fully aware of their connection speed limit (~25
KB/sec).

"Veeeeeeeeeeeeery coooooooooooooool".

Alex.
