Question about J2ME newbww

Hi!

I have 3 questions, so here they are:

1.I would like to make an aplicaton wich can run on GSM mobile phones -
SonyErricson k700 for instance. Is the J2ME what I am looking for?

2. Is there a way my Java aplicatio can accest SMS inbox on my GSM mobile
phone and get data from it?
For example lets say I want to make a game. In the game I hava the
High-Scores. I would like to send my HighScores by SMS to my friend. When
my friend starts up my game, if my score si better than his, I will be on
the first possition of the High-Scores. It would be even better if my
friend wouldn't even start game to update his High Scores. The moment whan
SMS arrives my program checks if SMS is for HighScores and does the update
automatically.
I hope you understand what I want, my English is bad :)

3. I am looking for tutorials on writing programs for GSM mobile phones.
Programs like the one mentioned in question 2.
You can send me answer to mail, but just remove MAKNI_OVO from my mail
addres.

Thanks for your time

Yes. Look at the Sony Ericcsson developer site. You can download
emulator and developer documentation from there.

I work in the cellular phone game industry, but I didn't hear of that.
Maybe you could publish high scores on one central server. I don't think
that you can provide event handler for the incoming SMS
