Reading a webpage

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could help me.
I want to connect to a page on my website and read the contents so that I
can then retrive parts of the Html and text.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

thanks in advance...

http://developers.sun.com/techtopics...ttips/scraping
is usable, even though it's meant for Java in mobile devices, it
works with few changes in standard Java.
