jar command error

hi,

i'm running jar with a manifest.txt file

jar cvfm welcome.jar manifest.txt welcome.class welcomeback.class

and i get :
jar cvfm Welcome.jar manifest.txt Welcome.class WelcomeBack.class

java.io.IOException: invalid header field
at java.util.jar.Attributes.read(Attributes.java:387)
at java.util.jar.Manifest.read(Manifest.java:167)
at java.util.jar.Manifest.<init>(Manifest.java:52)
at sun.tools.jar.Main.run(Main.java:124)
at sun.tools.jar.Main.main(Main.java:904)

does anyone know what i'm doing wrong.

Post the contents of manifest.txt. It looks like the problem might be
in there.

With the caveat that I don't know anything about MIDlets, I would be
suspicious of the first line. It seems to be missing the space between
the : and the data.
