Putting jar files in the classpath (Windows 2000)

P: n/a
How do I put many jar files into the classpath without having to name each
one? This is in Windows 200, in which setting any environmental variable is
tedious.

Unfortuately, there's no easier way than specifying each one. That's
what I hate about the CLASSPATH. You can use the FOR command in a batch
file to do this, but it's kind of weird. Here's an example of what I
used once:

for %%f in (lib\*.jar) DO
set CLASSPATH=!CLASSPATH!;%%f

You have to launch the shell in a special mode and I forget the syntax...
