Determining if a System is Running Sun Java or Another Vendor (From the console!)

I know I can access the System.properties from within Java to find out who
the vendor of a particular JVM is, but is there any way to do this from the
command line?

java -version

will giveme the official version, but I don't see anything specifying it is
Sun's "official" Java and I know there are various open source JVMs (like
Kaffee). Is there any way to be sure I'm running Sun's Java (which, as far
as I know, is the only JVM with AWT and Swing)?

It might help if those using a JVM other than Sun's posted the results they
get from the "java -version" command.

Thank you!

Hal
