Ant error executing threaded application

Hi all,
I have an Apache Ant build script that simply compile and run some
software components under Linux.
One of them (written in C++) is a unit test that uses threads and the
CPPUnit library.
If I use the old fashioned gmake to execute the test, it works
perfectly and CppUnit tells that everything is fine.
If I use ant to invoke make (or simply to invoke the test itself), it
doesn't work anymore, the program hangs and CppUnit tells that there
are errors.
Any idea?
Thanks a lot
Roberto
