Java IDE

Hey

Im about to plunge into Java, I have done alot in C and PHP, I was wondering
if there is a free IDE + Compiler out their that would suit my previous
programming.

Any suggestions?

i hear borland might have a "really inexpensive" ide for java
available.... i think it's called jbuilder and as for a compiler, you
might want to check out java.sun.com, they have "i think" a java
compiler, in fact... if you send me the money, i'll send you the url for it

Hi Hyden

JCreator LE (www.jcreator.com) is a simple one. (not easy debugging)
(Windows Only)
NetBeans (www.netBeans.org) is an advanced IDE that allows you develop
Web applications as well as desktop apps. (Multi platform)
