Link for Java Virtual Machine

Hi Everybody:

I am being told that I need to download and install the Java Virtual Machine
when trying run a simple applet. Can anyone point me to a url where I can
download it? I am having trouble finding it.

either d/l one from sun (java.sun.com) or to make things even simpler,
install one as part of your netscape install.

the main thing is to make sure it's properly installed and accessible to
verify this you run the "java -version" command in a terminal window (or
DOS window)

You can also find one from IBM.

I forgot to add.
There is also Kaffe (www.kaffe.org) with binaries for Linux, FreeBSD, and NextStep)
Source is avail for the do-it-yourself types.
