to edit a .txt file on a server

P: n/a
Hello folks,

To save or delete strings in a textfile which is on my HD is no
problem but I have no clue how to do it with a text file
that is on another server.
Do I need to use a URL and save in into a read/write stream?

Thanks,
Alex.

depends on how simple or complicated you want to make it but typically
it's what servers are all about. your "client" sends a request to the
"server" and that server does the read/writing or anything else it needs
to do to fulfill the request and send back the results...
