Question on Java and XML

P: n/a
I have a terrabyte database.
I want to extract data from that database based on some complex
business logic an generate an XML which will basically have data which
will be loaded into another database.
What is the best way to do this?
Any tools/frameworks already available which do this?
Can you please point me to more resources on this subject?
If this is the wrong group then please direct me to the right group

-Thanks

If you have a TB of data and you want to export it all into xml, the
output database will be huge!

immagine like
<Client Age>14</Client Age>

You just added 12 + 13 bytes to the 4byte entry. instead of using XML,
can you simply do the bridge? make a program that would do the
conversion and insert it, one row at a time?

Maby it would save you some space/time.
