netbeans platform vs eclipse

Hi there.

I'd like to develop a GUI sporting several different views of some
underlying data.. and I'd like to base my work on one of the above
framework (or others you I missed them).. :D

I'd be grateful to hear from you what are the main differences
of the two and strengh/weakness of each.
