want to write app to update website

P: n/a
I have an app running over my home network using sockets. The app reads some
sensors, makes some graphs and saves to a file. It's done in Windows SDK. I
have a website which I would like to automatically update periodically with
this data and I'm thinking java would be a good way to do it. I'm new to
java so could someone give me a hint where to start on such a project?
(After I read all the books and online tutorials and get past the usual
learning curve, of course). Let me know, and I can be more specific about
the software I currently have. (See also www.hampleman.com/energy_mgmt.htm
for code listings and explanation). Thanks for any ideas.
