javadoc link

P: n/a
i'm having trouble with some links using javadoc...

basically, here is the example:

{@link List}.
{@link List#set(int, Object) List.set}.

i'll run javadoc, but only the first link shows up.
i know i have imported the correct packages (in this case, only
java.util.*)...
and the command line link option is:
-link http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4/docs/api/

which works well enough to get the first link of the two, just not the
more specific one.

is this just a newbie problem? if so, can someone point out my flaw?

thanks much,

murat

Object -> java.lang.Object

i already tried putting in the explicit package names. doesn't make a
difference.

logically, it shouldn't, because:

{@link List} works fine anyhow without the full {@link java.util.List}...

(i've already included the java.util.* package).

thanks for the idea, though.
