Netscape 7.1 cannot load applet data

When I use Netscape 7.1 with JRE 1.4.2 to view

http://www.hexidec.com/ekitdemo.php

initial data is not loaded into the Editor. However, if I use IE, it
is. Does anyone have a suggestion as to why this may be?

Todd
