Those tutorial were nice but i want something that can show a case
study for system designing in a step by step way specific to java
language(like when to use a seperate class or an interface or abstract
class,or how to approach a problem via concrete examples).Something of
that sort will be great.

Thanks

This site has lots of tips :
http://www.javapractices.com/

It makes use of two example applications for discussing various topics :
http://www.javapractices.com/Topic170.cjp
http://www.javapractices.com/Topic188.cjp

The first is a GUI app, the second is a web app.

Their source code is available, but for a small fee....
