How to display Visio XML file using Java?

P: n/a
Here's what I'm trying to do: I have a series of Visio drawings that
represent the toplogy of the LAN here in the office. I would like to
display the drawings in a web browser so that the user can click on
any of the devices or links that are shown on the diagram. The usage
statistics of the link or device would then pop-up in a separate
window. The HTML that is displayed in the browser is generated by an
application server using JSP.

Can anyone suggest a way to do this? I thought that if the drawings
were exported from Visio in XML format, then a Java library could then
render them into a .gif or somesuch, and I could dynamically generate
an image map to define hotspots as appropriate. Could anyone suggest a
library that can do this?

On the other hand, if anyone has a better suggestion then I'm all ears
:-)

regards,
Rob
