Hi Anders,
first of all i am glad that the info i gave helped you..
By library .. i guess you mean jar files ... if not please post more
details.
All the jar files are located in the lib dir in your JMF install dir.
you just have to set the path in your IDE to pick up the jar files
from there .... (if you are not sure of the install path .. just
search for the file jmf.jar which is one of the main API jar file) and
you will find the rest of the jar files in the same path. I have never
used JBuilder... but i am sure there will be a way to set the jar file
path in the IDE for your project... One more way of making the jar
file available for your java program is by setting up the CLASSPATH
environment variable... if you dont know the useage of class path ...
tell me I will be glad to help you out..
Text pad is a bad option if you are coding a big application ... it
decreases productivity as it has no features like code completion etc
etc...
I use eclipse .. a open source IDE from IBM. .... it is fantastic....
it has all sorts of plugins .. you can do everything from design ...
dev ... code generation .. testing and deployment on the same IDE. In
eclipse the answer to your question is ... create a new project ..
right click on the the main project folder..click on properties ...
java build path ...libraries ... Add external jars ... and then add
what ever jar or zip file you want to add.
Hope this helps
Regards
Karthik

Thanx
I was wondering... Do u know how to setup the library in an IDE? I have
installed it and the applet at suns site is able to find it, but I can't get
it to work in the Jbuilder IDE.
Which editor do use?
I know I just can write my code in Textpad for instance, but I prefer the
intelligence...
Thanx in advance.

news:<bf***********@news.cybercity.dk>... I am looking for anything on the Java Media Framework 2.0.
My goal is to write a applet that recieves a streaming media. First case is to capture from a twain device and stream it to a client applet as a jpeg. Next case is to stream real-time video such as wmf. Does anyone have any
experience in that field ?
I am looking for sample programs, source code, links, tutorials
