Parsing HTML accents

Hi,
I am reading HTML pages off the web using URL class. I want to decode
HTML encoding of accented charatcers in to original form (like
ú into accented 'u'). Is there any easy method to do this other
than painfully search for each likely instance and replacing it with
corresponsing accented character. Your help would be greatly
appreciated.

tia,
Srinivas
