What is a IP Route Cache Table?

I have been told that my Internet Provider Route Cache Table is Net Address 127.0.01, the NetMask is 255.255.255.255 and the GW address is 192.168.1.254., what does all this mean?

You may want to start here: Default gateway

It is very unlikely that the Internet Provider Route Cache Table is Net Address 127.0.01, or anything else terribly significant for that matter as 127.0.0.1 is the loop back address. That is 127.0.0.1 is an alias for the computer or node in use.

The IP Route Cache Table is where your node stores which gateways it has successfully used for the various IP networks that it has had to contact.

It is not unusual for this to be found at that address (The Loopback address 127.0.0.1), though why you would be told that is hard to appreciate.

Ultimately it will be hard for you to understand any of this without some basic understanding of the issues, so I suggest you follow Chip's link in post #2 if you're interested.
