IIS 5.1 & Apache issue.

Hello All,

I am facing an issue with a WinXP SP2 box which is running Oracle with Apache as the app server. Oracle application is using port 77** and Apache is using the port 80. Hence I need to change the port on which IIS runs.

Upon installing the IIS (v5.1), the localhost didn't execute. I re-installed IIS and now even the Websites Option & Default website is unavailable. It does not appear under the Servername.

Please suggest what is missing in here and how do I run IIS and Apache alongside.

Thanks.

Welcome to TSDN. Here is one way:
How can I run Apache and IIS on the same Windows NT server?

Thanks for the reply.

However, presently, the Website option under the servername is unavailable.

Just for clarity; on opening inetmgr, we get the IIS console which shows the following structure:

Internet Information Services
-Hostname
--WebSites
---Default Website

In the present scenario, the tree Websites and under is unavailable.

Hope you understand now.

Please suggest.

Thanks.
