IIS not in my Add/Remove for install (XP Pro SP2)

1
I need IIS for a project at Uni but when I tried to install I found that it wasn't even on my Add/Remove components. I am running XP Pro SP2

There is an IIS6.cab and associated files on my CD but no IIS files on my HD. There is also no mention of IIS on the sysoc.inf file (which I believe is for add/remove).

I also have a Windows 2000 Pro CD as I think there is a way of installing the IIS from this CD to XP HOME but don't know if you could do the same thing for XP Pro.

Is there anyway of adding IIS to the sysoc.inf and copying the files from either my XP CD or my Win 2000?.

I assume that you saw the previous post - IIS FAQ. If you are unable to install it from xo, then you may indeed W2K. But this will have 5.1, iis 6 comes with W3K.
