HTTP 401.2 - Unauthorized Access

I am able to visit the website home page. But when I tried to login to a website that required me to key in user id and password. (We got the user id and password from the supplier)

I received the following message :

You are not authorized to view this page.
HTTP Error 401.2 - unauthorised : Acccess is configuration. Internet Information Services (IIS).

Operating system : Windows XP Professional and browser - Internet Explorer 6.0 above

Could anyone give any solution how to resolve the above problems ?

Thanks
