Using StyleMaster With GoLiveCSS

Just purchased StyleMaster and it is just what I've been looking for!

However, I'm pretty lost at this point, trying to use it with GoLiveCSS
on the Mac. A few questions, please:
1. I keep getting these "temp" css files in the folder and I don't know
what to do with them....they seem to be taking over from the original
style sheet (template) that I'm using.
2. When I'm in GoLive, viewing an html file in layout mode, how do
apply styles from the style sheet to a given text line/paragraph? Is
this done within GoLive, or do I open StyleMaster in the background
and do it there? I've tried both and can't get either of them to work.

Thanks!

The reason I did not 'jump in' on this post as that
I would not allow must editors to get their grubby
little bits on my HTML/CSS, which I edit in a light
weight editor that colors HTML and CSS elements and
little else. Then I use the validators to check the
output for me.

So ..that's what I'd recommend, but then, I suspect
that's not what you wanted to hear.

You'll find most folks here either don't use any software to author (aside
from a quality text editor) or use something high-end like Dreamweaver.
Perhaps there is a forum on the manufacturer's website for users of this
product, or maybe ask in alt.html, where a greater variety of authors
exist.

Andrew, NOT necessarily! I understand your point, and I'm only using GoLive
at this point because I have it and am familar with it. I just need to get a
little further with editing my StyleMaster template. Here are the things
that I'm puzzled about.
--- I've got an old site that I'm trying to apply my neat new template to.
I've copied a page or two and pasted it into my NEW page which is
linked to my stylesheet...
--- Given a string of "old" headline text, how do I apply a selected headline
"style" to that text?
--- Do I do it from StyleMaster, or inside my html editor (for now, forget
that it happens to be GoLive, OK?)
--- I doing the tutorial, I styled a blank html page and then pasted text
into it via GoLive. Is this the only way to do it?
---
Thanks for your response to my amateurish questions, and maybe this will
better explain where I'm coming from..
