My CSS Layout-in-progress: What's going on here?

I've just begun working on a new site:
http://www.captainsoftheworld.com/test/index.html
http://www.captainsoftheworld.com/te...oadCinemas.css

So far, in what seems like it should be a very straightforward CSS layout,
I'm running into two weird problems.

The first seems to occur only in IE: Look at the top line in the centre
column. The problem is that this line appears to be indent by a few pixels
on the left-hand side. The culprit appears to be the left-hand column
DIV -- ie: if I add another line of text to the left DIV, the *second* line
of text in the centre also becomes indented slightly, and so on.

The second is a little more straightforward (and is noticable in both IE and
Firefox): Why is it that the left and right hand column are slightly
different sizes (by about 5 pixels or so), despite having set them to equal
widths?

Any help would be much appreciated,
Thanks!!

Both sidebars look the same width to me in Firefox 0.8 and a recent
mozilla nightly build. The mozilla DOM inspector shows both are computed
to 125px, too. Maybe it's your imagination. Regardless, who is really
going to care about a couple pixels?

Thanks! With a little tweaking I was able to make things work perfectly!
<grumble>.... stupid IE....</grumble>

Yeah, I suppose it was just my imagination. I was trying to "measure" the
two widths on my screen by way of marking them on a piece of paper, but I
think I was mistaken due to added 'perspective' (for lack of a better term)
added because the screen's glass protrudes outward from where the actual
screen image is drawn.
(jeez, I'm not sure if that'll make any sense to anyone but me, but suffice
to say I was probably mistaken, and they are equal widths).

Thanks again!
