repeat text

For a current project, I'm duplicating a banner from the client's
brochure. It's the name of the business repeated accross the bottom,
each instance separated by a bullet. I know I can repeat a background
image using css, but is there any way to repeat text?

I thought of content:after, but IE/Win does not support it. Does that
leave me with only js to consider?
