why does firefox does not inherit font-styles via CSS?

Dear Group,

I recently experienced a strange behaviour on firefox 0.9.2 (OS: winxp
prof. SP1): the div.Footnote (see code on
http://tomasio.laudatio.com/jobs/Cla...stylesheet.css )
is rendered on font-size: 0.8em; although following the CSS 2.1 defs
it should inherit the font-size of the parent element thus resulting
in 0.6 em font-size. on MSIE 6 it renders in the correct site. this
occurs on all of the websites of
http://tomasio.laudatio.com/jobs/Claudia/Website/
except
http://tomasio.laudatio.com/jobs/Cla...ed_beauty.html
..
does anyone has an idea whats happening here?

TIA,

kind regards,
tomasio

No text at all on that page so can't be relevant to this problem.
except
http://tomasio.laudatio.com/jobs/Cla...ed_beauty.html
.

Your div.footer only contains text that is linked. And you have the
style div.Footer a:link {font-size: larger;} in your CSS.
So the text size is 0.8 * 0.8 * larger which is probably close to just
0.8. Yep, when I click on the link the text gets smaller.
