Making sure the copyright notice stays at the bottom

I know there's a way to do this -- I've seen it before but can't remember
how it was done. When using CSS positioning, how do you make sure the
copyright notice ends up at the bottom of the screen, regardless of their
resolution (which can sometimes make the whole page look shorter and make
your copyright notice appear under everything else but still around
mid-screen)

Thanks!

Susan

Look up absolute positioning in CSS2.1:
<http://www.w3.org/TR/CSS21/visuren.html#propdef-position>

You'll want to specify something like
E {
position: absolute;
bottom: 0;
height: auto;
}

and maybe some other properties to make sure things don't overlap.

Example: <http://matt.blissett.me.uk/fluxum/mmiv/iulius/fixed_footer.html>
