Add link to a table cell?

Hi,

Is there a way to add a link to an empty table cell, or a table cell
that has text in it?

I have made these cells (TD's) look like big buttons (somewhat..) by
adding a colored background and putting borders on the bottom and right
for the shading effect.

I feel the user is gonna want to click on the whole "button" and not
just the linked text inside the TD.

I've tried adding a link to the TD but I get nothing.

This has got to be easy, I am just missing it.

Thanks
Steve

Then make the a element block level and fill the entire td box (width,
height).
