In some versions (at least) of I.E. but not Mozilla or Opera, the page
http://www.toddgiudice.com/lyrics.html
has problems with a horizontal scroll bar in the lower right frame when
none is needed. Try for instance the first song, "All Night Long", with
a window sized so that its lower edge is roughly at the bottom of the
scrollbar on the left menu.
It seems that the horizontal scroll bar appears in I.E. whenever there is
need for a vertical one, i.e. when the text is longer than the window,
regardless of whether there are long lines or not.
Is this something that can be fixed? I don't see any CSS properties
specific for horizontal scroll bars.
(If anyone can suggest a way to get rid of the frames, I'd love to.
However the client insists that the left menu be of that height and have a
vertical scroll bar, and for the individual lyrics at right to appear
alone, i.e. no named anchors in a long file. It must also be javascript-
independent, though some cosmetic js can be tolerated.)
Thanks,
Pierre
