Alternative to NOWRAP in CSS??

Hi All

I'm developing a site using CSS 1 & 2 and my site has annoying habit of
wrapping the text when I move my browser closer in.

The CSS code that I'm using to generate this problem is as follows:

..ProdDetailTabsMenu
{
BORDER:0px solid darkgray;
WIDTH:95%;
PADDING-LEFT:0px;
COLOR:black;
FONT-FAMILY:tahoma,arial,helvetica,sans-serif;
FONT-SIZE:12px;
FONT-WEIGHT:normal;
}

Now I know the Width is set to 95%, but I can't fix the width of this as my
menu text is dynamically written (for multi-language purposes).

Is there an equivalent of NOWRAP in CSS??

For your ref, the table and associated CSS is listed below.

Many thanks.

..BoxHeadBG
{
BORDER:0px solid #3F60AF;
BACKGROUND:url(boxheadbg.gif);
COLOR:#3F60AF;
FONT-FAMILY:tahoma,arial,helvetica,sans-serif;
FONT-SIZE:12px;
FONT-WEIGHT:bold;
}

..BoxHeadBG-off
{
BORDER:0px solid #3F60AF;
BACKGROUND:url(boxheadbg-off.gif);
COLOR:#3F60AF;
FONT-FAMILY:tahoma,arial,helvetica,sans-serif;
FONT-SIZE:12px;
FONT-WEIGHT:bold;
}

I use ASP to change the background pic by giving strTabFlag1 a value of
'-off' if needed.

Post the URL. Or consider first what you have been doing to make wrapping
a problem; normally it is a solution.

Dear Jukka

Many thanks for coming back to me.

My site is a bit in pieces at the moment, but I've extracted the necess and
uploaded a test page, which I hope should re-create the problem.

Could you please go to the following web page and then start to drag your
browser in to see that the prompts wrap round:

http://www.frozenmoles.co.uk/test.asp

This can get really ugly, as my test site shows, because I'm using a pic as
a background to generate my buttons for this and when it wraps my background
buttons go blurrrrghgh!!

Can u help?

I've had this quite a lot and I think I'm going to have to force this table
to be xxx pixels rather than a percentage in order to fix this - am I right?

There just doesn't seem to be a nowrap facility in CSS.

It doesn't seem to work on Opera at all, I get line of links that should
be wrapped, but aren't. I don't see any images.

So, your problem was not wrapping, but ugly lookin buttons when button
text was wrapped.
